I had been taking pictures for years. My Grandfather and I must have walked most of Blackwater Canyon taking shots of everything that caught our eye. I wanted to shoot for a living but I wasn't really sure how to go about it. I was young and had never had a company before.
I started shooting for Columbia Productions. I worked hard and tried to hone my craft. As I learned, I knew I could go out on my own. I talked to my Grandfather and he told me to follow my heart. So I did.
My first office was in my newborn son Adam's room. It wasn't exactly plush; folding card table, phone and some equipment. But it grew into a successful business.
The company was broken up during a divorce. What was left was sold. I went to work as a stockbroker for a few years then moved to California where I worked for the Oceangate Entertainment Movie Company. Through it all I missed shooting pictures.
In 2001 I got Adam Productions back. I opened a studio in Romney WV and started shooting in New York City. Wayne Simms bought the Romney studio and I went back to work at Oceangate Entertainment.
